For days, and weeks, Nicole Kidman's publicist vehemently denied that her client was pregnant. For days, and weeks, the press called her a liar.
The press was right. Nicole and hubby announced on Monday that she is indeed pregnant.
Do celebrities and their publicists think they have any credibility left? How about sticking with a simple "No comment" or "I don't comment on my client's personal life"? That would be better than vehemently denying the truth and going so far as to state - up until one week before Kidman's announcement - that the pregnancy reports were false and Kidman "must have had about 30 babies by now".
Ok, Ms. Spokeswoman, your client just announced that she is pregnant. Where do we go from here?
