My Blog Mentioned on CNN Tonight!

Keri's Life Mentioned on CNN

Great way to start the year!

My blog was mentioned tonight on CNN's website. It was one of 3 blogs referenced earlier tonight with the article entitled: "Musharraf: Bhutto to Blame for her assassination."

The article I wrote and that was referenced can be accessed at: http://kerijam.blogspot.com/2008/01/president-musharraf-on-60-minutes-my.html.

The link for the original CNN article is: http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/01/06/pakistan.bhutto.musharraf/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

My blog was listed as one of three under the "From the Blogs" section of the article. The selection of blog sites changes rapidly, but here's how it was presented on cnn.com earlier tonight (I am the second blog mentioned from the top):

Musharraf Blames Bhutto for Her Assassination
We know you did it. Although (If I might blow my own horn) this blog was the first to definitively argue that the government was behind the assassination: Pakistan’s President lays responsibility for the murder of Benazir Bhutto on the former prime minister’s shoulders in a television interview, Sky News reported. Pervez Musharraf said Bhutto p...

President Musharraf on 60 Minutes - Highlights
I was able to catch excerpts of a very interesting interview with President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan on 60 Minutes . It was his first one-on-one interview since the assassination of his political rival, Benazir Bhutto. The interviewer - Lara Logan - had some good, and tough questions; however, I felt it was very awkward when she asked Musharraf...

Here's an excerpt from the MTV News Site (My blog got mentioned first!!!):

Ticket Stubs: Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, Hives, The National
Posted by MTV News, New York,NY, at 5:00 pm EST on Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

In today’s online concert reports, we find parents-to-be, a sk8er grrrl, dance-punk Swedes and self-deprecating indie-rockers.

- Keri saw soon-to-be-parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Monday. She definitely took note of Lopez’s extra-flowy costumes and restrained dance moves, but “J.Lo delivered her usual great performance.” (Keri’s Life)

- Just after Avril Lavigne took home the Best International Singer prize at MTV Russia’s VMAs, Yana went to see the “Complicated” singer onstage in Moscow. “There’s no need to mention the crowd bursting at the sight of Avril, screaming and shouting,” the superfan observed. (Toris Notes)

- The Hives hit Webster Hall for their first NYC-area show in three years, and Brooklyn Vegan’s Dominic Masi Jr. was there for all the dance-rock action. “The set was only an hour and fifteen minutes long, but I didn’t leave unfulfilled,” Masi wrote. (Brooklyn Vegan)

- Frank went back for seconds of the National after seeing them just four months prior at Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre, and he wasn’t disappointed. “This show wasn’t terribly different from last time, which is fine — that show was fantastic, and so was this,” Frank enthused. (ChromeWaves)

Here's the article that got me the special mention:
