Show Me The Way

Absolutely love it!

Sample lyrics...

Chorus:
Show me the way
Show me the way
Down here Lord,
need your power
Show me the way

Verse:
I said Lord I'm right here standing by myself
Lord I need, I need, I need, I need, I need, Lord I need, Lord I always need your help
Lord you pick me up and you turn me around
Oh, you place my feet on, on to the ground
Show, show me, show me the way

AMEN

Fly Much?

You know you are a very frequent flier when on Sunday you get to church extra early and have your pick of seats, and the usher asks you where you want to go, and you say "I'd like an aisle seat, please".

Quote of the Day: Wickedness

"Wickedness, when you examine it, turns out to be the pursuit of some good in the wrong way. You can be good for the mere sake of goodness: you cannot be bad for the mere sake of badness. You can do a kind action when you are not feeling kind and when it gives you no pleasure, simply because kindness is right; but no one ever did a cruel action simply because cruelty is wrong - only because cruelty was pleasant or useful to him. In other words badness cannot succeed even in being bad in the same way in which goodness is good. Goodness is, so it speak, itself: badness is only spoiled goodness. And there must be something good first before it can be spoiled."

Can Rappers Act?

Rappers seem to be taking over a lot of the prime roles in movie land these days and some actors are upset! Upset enough to write a new play about it.

J. Kyle Manzay writes, directs and stars in a new play - The Actor's Rap! - a comedy focusing on who has the credibility: actors or rappers? The storyline centers around a "group of actors who are frustrated by the rappers turned actors who keep stealing their roles. Taking matters into their own hands, the actors kidnap today's hottest rapper in order to secure a coveted role in an upcoming film."

If you are in NY, go check out the play. For more details see: http://www.theactorsrap.com/.

Moment of Silence - Fire at Southwestern Christian College

Southwestern Christian College suffered from a damaging fire yesterday morning. No one was harmed, but there was substantial destruction. May God bless them during this time.

For more details, see:

http://www.swcc.edu/

Update
The fire destroyed the Jack Evans, Sr. Administration Building and the nearby Science Building. The Administration building was home to classroom space, chapel services, gospel meetings, etc. Campus files and records, personal belongings, school artifacts and other important information were lost. The newly renovated Ben Foster, Jr. Memorial Auditorium was also destroyed. The college will definitely need assistance to repair the damage - and news on how persons can help is expected to come soon.
