Grief clings to you
He was special - one of the first to shape your view of the world
He was there, a constant presence
Now we cry
And we celebrate his life...his contributions to ours
It is painful
Yet in each moment, we find comfort in memories...
...in the simple touch, smile and warmth of the extended family
and God's love engulfs us
cleanses us
soothes us
and we remember, that in everything, we are truly blessed
